In addition to Adobe Camera Raw (represented by the Adobe Bridge icon), I tested, in alphabetical order, and from left to right in the icons above: I tested only programs that are offered for both MacOS and Windows, with identical or nearly identical features for both platforms. Many other things are missing (presets, granular B&W controls)īasically, as a RAW processor it's good for very basic operations but, if the exposure was correct, it would take me a lot of work to get somewhat close to the in-camera JPEG processor.

Affinity cannot manage your photo library.

There are no batch processing tools like Capture One.

Noise reduction quality is not as good as Capture One.

You get the default "Affinity Photo look" which is fairly neutral.

Control over colors is not nearly as fine-grained and powerful as with Capture One.

You do not get Fuji film simulations and the default "Fuji Look" in Affinity Photo.

For RAW processing, Affinity cannot compete with Capture One: I replaced Lightroom + Photoshop combo with CaptureOne + Affinity Photo pair.
