should I buy the separate charger for the pen only, or just let the battery drained out (and render the pen useless)? But, right now I am not sure how to deal with my Slim Pen since it can no longer be charged using the Keyboard. I end up buying a bluetooth keyboard since it is way cheaper than replacing it with another Signature Keyboard. And it confirms my worst fear, the Keyboard is the issue here. So, today I brought the Keyboard to the shop where I bought the SPX and the shop assistant let me tested the Keyboard with a SPX on display. I just made it worse, now it is completely dead.

So, I began to pinch the entire length of the hinge between the docking area and the main area of keyboard, hoping to 'straighten' out the wiring (thinking I can remedy the problem). But, after I unpressed it, it was dead again.

Later on, I further noticed that when I slightly pressed the magnetic strip with my index finger near the docking point that connects the keyboard with the tablet, for a brief moment the Keyboard was alive again. However, after I the updates were completed, the Keyboard was unresponsive. So, I thought it must be the software problem. While waiting for the updates to finish, I notice the backlight turned on intermittently.

So, there were some updates which need to be installed. So, I tried updating my SPX tablet to see if there are any updates that might fix the problem. So, I pressed one or two keys such as Caps Lock to see if the backlight was on (it wasn't). I also bought the Signature Keyboard with Slim Pen.įew days ago, I noticed that when I tried typing something, there was no response from the Keyboard.
